Anatomy

Build a rock-solid foundation in human structure—essential for diagnosis, surgery, & clinical excellence. For MBBS & AYUSH doctors.

About Course

Anatomy is the blueprint of medicine—understanding the structure of the human body is the first step toward skilled clinical practice. This course covers everything from basic anatomical terminology and systems (skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, etc.) to detailed regional anatomy of head, neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and limbs. You’ll learn to visualise structures in 3D, understand their relations, and link anatomy to clinical applications such as surgical approaches, imaging, and pathology.

What You Will Learn

  • Master anatomical terminology and directional / regional anatomy
  • Describe and locate bones, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels across all body regions
  • Understand organ positions, topography, and relationships (e.g., thoracic, abdominal, pelvic contents)
  • Recognize anatomical variations and their clinical significance
  • Apply anatomy to imaging interpretation (X-ray, CT, MRI) and surgical landmarks
  • Understand developmental anatomy / embryology basics relevant to birth defects and congenital anomalies
